How do I use the Xtovia Spray and Mask?
Start with the Reconstruct Spray. Apply to dry hair along the lengths until fully drenched, and leave on for at least 4 minutes. Do not rinse. Follow with the Repair Mask. Rub a small amount between your palms and work it evenly through your lengths. Leave on for at least 6 minutes, then rinse thoroughly. Use this duo at least once a week or as often as desired. For best results, follow it up
with the Xtovia Shampoo and Conditioner.
Pro Tip: The Mask needs wet hair to absorb properly, so make sure your hair is thoroughlydampened with the Spray before applying the Mask.

Can I use the Xtovia Spray and Mask with myexisting haircare products?
For best results, we recommend following up the Spray and Mask with the Xtovia Shampoo and Conditioner. After you have followed the Xtovia routine as directed, you can use your usual leave-ins, serums, or styling products post-wash.
Can I oil my hair before the Xtovia routine?
Oil can coat the hair and limit how well hair absorbs the Spray and Mask, so it is best not to use oil before applying Xtovia Spray and Mask on wash days. Outside of that, you can continue using oil in the way that works best for your routine.
Can the Spray be used on the scalp?
The Xtovia Spray is safe for the scalp. However, it is formulated to work on the hair shaft rather than the scalp. For best results, apply it through your lengths, avoiding the scalp.
Will the Mask weigh my hair down?
In most cases, no. The Xtovia Mask is designed to deeply hydrate and smooth the hair without leaving it heavy. However, since it contains a higher concentration of Xtovia’s patent-pending technology, some hair types,especially fine hair, may feel over-hydrated if too much is used. You can manage this by using a smaller amount, leaving it on for just 6 minutes rather than longer, or using it weekly instead of every wash.
Can I use the Mask instead of the Conditioner?
No. The Xtovia Mask is not a replacement for Conditioner. It is formulated with a higher concentration of repair actives, better suited for damaged and dry hair. The Conditioner is more detangling and conditioning focused, better suited for daily use and frizz control. We recommend using the pre-wash steps (Spray + Mask) at least once a week for deeper repair, and the Shampoo + Conditioner for every wash.
Can I leave the Xtovia Mask on for longer than 6 minutes?
That depends on your hair type. If you have fine hair or hair that’s not too damaged, leaving the Mask on for longer than 6 minutes may leave your hair flat due to overhydration. If you have normal hair or hair that’s very damaged, you can leave it on for longer, but make sure to wash it off before it starts drying on your strands. Letting it dry can leave your hair feeling a little stiff post-wash. It is best to begin with the recommended timing and increase only if your hair responds well.
